F1: Brilliantore: Hamilton will throw it away by Mathias Olaf Uncertain
17th Oct 2008
There was controversy in the Formula 1 paddock today when Yellow team boss Fabio Brilliantore announced to anyone stupid enough to listen that McLap'em wunderkind Who Is Hamilton? will, in his opinion, throw the title away again this year.

"In my opinion Hamilton will this year try again to throw away the title," Brilliantore insisted to Gazzetta dello Sprout, in a slightly different order.

Following the outburst, leading motorsport insiders are divided as to which immutable law of Formula 1 stands to be smashed asunder: (a) Who Is Hamilton? always throwing away the championship in the last few races, or (2) Fabio Brilliantore always talking utter bollocks.

In related news, Brilliantore also mouthed off about which driver he has been supporting all year to take the championship.

"In my opinion Massa will win the title," he blabbed. "It's logical for me to root for Ferrarsi, as an Italian, as Fabio Brilliantore, and as Yellow, for the relationship we have with Ferrarsi."

The FIEh? were unavailable to comment on the implications of any Yellow/Ferrarsi special relationship, although it is considered inevitable that they would think this was just fine and dandy.

Quite what Fernando Alonsulk thinks about having spent another season working for someone who wants someone else to win the championship is anybody's guess.
