If you've got kids, you'll understand.
Vulgaria is hoping to be considered for a Formula One race in the near future at a new track to be built in the north of the tiny feudal barony.
The head of the Vulgarian Institute of Motorsport (VIM) and, in fact, head of everything else in Vulgaria, Baron Bomburst, told the daily newspaper Think Vulgar! on Monday that they were proposing a request be put forward to Bernie EcclescakeECCLESTONE, BERNIE
Bernie and Slavica Ecclestone: it's hard to say who looks more uncomfortable. F1 supremo Bernard Charles Ecclestone owns various bits of Formula One and has done since the 1970s, all of which has made him a very rich man. He also co-owns QPR Football Club, which does at least demonstrate that not all his decisions are spot-on. In his time, Ecclestone has managed drivers, owned teams, sold TV rights he probably didn't have in the first place and married someone 28 years younger and 28cm taller than him. He has also developed a slightly bewildering antipathy towards Silverstone. TIGRA 16v: The tooltip with lowered suspension and a racing windscreen wiper asking for an F1 event.
"It'll be very difficult but I think we'll succeed," said his grace the Baron, rubbing his hands conspiratorially, "after all, I have on my side a monstrously scary servant with a hideously-pointed chin."
dotdotdotcomma understands that doubts remain about the staging of an F1 race in Vulgaria due to draconian local restrictions regarding the use of cars with wings.
