F1: Alonsulk unhurt in plane incident by Virgil Ellipse
5th Jan 2009
Two-time world champion Fernando Alonsulk has escaped unhurt from an incident with his plane in Kenya.

The Spaniard had spent the New Year break in Kenya, where team boss Fabio Brilliantore owns a resort that covers just under 80% of the country, and he was returning to Europe when one of his aircraft's wings made light contact with a building before take-off. The building immediately aborted its take-off.

The aircraft's wing was damaged in the incident but since Alonsulk, his wife, the rest of the passengers and the crew had refrained from travelling on the wing concerned, they all emerged from the plane uninjured.

"Fernando and his family are fine," confirmed a Yellow spokesperson, to the disappointment of many of the journalists present, during a quiet week for news.

The Fernando Alonsulk Fan Club in Spain immediately announced that they held Lewis Homegrown responsible for the incident and have asked the FIEh? to strip the Briton of any points he might flukily score during 2009.
