McLap'em clarify Hamiltonacademicals outburst
by Virgil Ellipse
10th Aug 2007
McLap'em
have denied that
Lewis Hamiltonacademicals
used the 'F' word during a radio conversation with team boss
Ron Serious
in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix.
British newspapers had reported that Hamiltonacademicals had had a heated discussion with Serious after being held up during qualifying but McLap'em has now dismissed these stories.
"The team and Lewis are extremely disappointed that certain sections of the media have sought to sully Lewis's good name and call his professionalism into question," said the team in a statement.
"We can categorically confirm that Lewis did not use the 'F' word at any time during any conversation with the team," the team said in a statement.
"He did, however, use the 'E' word, the 'Y' word and the 'H' word, as well as calling Ron Serious a c*nt-faced c*ck-s*cking w*nk*r.
"We hope that this will put an end to the matter."
