Hairpin: Thumpalainen not showing his cajones
by Mathias Olaf Uncertain
13th Mar 2008
Hairpin suggested Thumpalainen was being too modest.
Loews Hairpin
is not to be lulled into a sense of false security by
McLap'em
teammate
Ecky Thumpalainen
at the Australian Grand Prix on Thursday.
The Finn played down the potential of his pole or of coming first on Sunday.
But Hairpin suggested Thumpalainen was being too modest.
"I think he's playing it down a little. Everyone knows he's got a great talent," the 23-year-old Briton told reporters, with gestures.
"I am sure he's going to be pushing me just as much as I push him."
[That's quite enough homoerotic innuendo. - Ed.]
