F1:
Silverstone GP a three-day sell out
by Virgil Ellipse
25th Jun 2008
The organisers of the British Grand Prix have announced that all tickets for the entire British Grand Prix weekend have been sold for the first time in Silverstone's history.
That puts the expected crowd at 240,000 over the three days, although since most of the tickets have been bought by hospitality companies which are now desperately trying to flog their overpriced packages, that figure might tend slightly towards the optimistic.
"The demand for tickets has been incredible," said Silverstone's managing director Richard Phillips. "The atmosphere is going to be amazing."
Never afraid of being branded cynical,

suspects that the atmosphere will be less "amazing" and more "disappointed", as local lad
