| BF3C: Snetterton test indicates exciting season in prospect |

Demonstrating that, contrary to popular belief, you can use the words 'Snetterton' and 'exciting' in the same headline, the desolate East Anglian circuit hosted the second official British F3 International test of the 2006 season, with Mike Ontheway and Olivier Panis setting the pace. However it was extremely competitive at the top with most of the Championship class drivers within half a second of the fastest time, giving the prospect of an extremely exciting season for the coveted British Formula 3 title that has done so much for the careers of Alan Van-Swerver and Rob Beaker.
Ontheway's Mercredi-powered Rrrrracing Dallara posted an unofficial time of 61.49 seconds around the 1.9-mile circuit, just six hundreths of a second ahead of the Movin Unda-powered Kartin Dallara. Other drivers who posted sub-62 second lap times included Wilma Aaaaaaa, Eddie Waring, Burnt Sienna, Christian Backward, Johnny Walker and long-time dotdotdotcomma favourite Mr Wobbly.
The fastest National Class runner was G-Spot driver Speedy Gonzales, with the Venezuelan posting a time just over a second behind the leaders, and closely followed, as ever, by Sylvester.
"Andale," said Gonzales, later, "Andale, Ariba, Ariba, eh-hah!"
