In a frantic and surprising qualifying session for the F3 EuroSeries at the Norisring on Friday, pole position was taken by a character from a computer game, and a game for girls at that.
"I'm frilled," said a jubilant Jade Geek after the event. "I got bored wiv, like, sending my Sims to the toilet and, like, trying to make them get off with each other, so I was like, yeah, why don't I point them at the Formula 3 qualifying at the Norisring and see what happens?"
Geek's tactics for Saturday's race of just selecting the finish line and hitting enter paid off with a fine second place, which would have been victory had she not needed to stop midway through to clean out the guinea-pigs' cage.
