EF3: Oschersleben race decided on penalties	by Mathias Olaf Uncertain 2nd Aug 2009

Christian Clitoris came off with a surprise victory in the second Formula 3 Euro Series race at Oschersleben after all six drivers ahead of him had 30 seconds added to their race times. The Mucky Motorsport driver was only seventh on the road at the chequered flag, but he was classified the winner after a staggering 21 of the 23 drivers still running were penalised for setting personal best times through the first sector while yellow flags were out. And they wondered why the F1 paddock thought F3 graduate Jamie Andhismagictorch's level of experience was dangerous..., The only other unpenalised driver was CarPark's Riddle of the Sands, who somehow still managed to finish in 14th - a heroically crap effort. Special mention must also go to Andrea Calderelli, who received his penalty despite being 4 laps down already. The result means that Clitoris has the distinction of winning a race through being one of the slowest drivers on the track. We tried to find the victor for comment, but, being mere blokes, just somehow couldn't put our finger on him.
