F1:
Very Aguri facing more delays with new car
by Virgil Ellipse
26th Feb 2007
Very Aguri
could further delay the launch of their 2007 car and may not even have it ready before practice in Australia,
autosprout.com
has learned and
dotdotdotcomma
has copied their homework.
The Japanese squad were planning to launch the SA07 in Tokyo a week before the season-opening Grand Prix but team sources have admitted that this event could be postponed because the car may not be finished, taking the "just in time" principle of manufacturing to a whole new level.
In addition, Very Aguri are still unsure about who their title sponsor will be, which means that the car's livery is yet to be decided.
A spokesman for the team admitted that the project was behind schedule but insisted that these matters are not as straightforward as they might appear. "All right, Mr. Wiseguy," he said, "if you're so clever, you tell us what colour it should be."
