F1: Lenovo completes Millions supercomputer by Virgil Ellipse
17th Jul 2007
Millions sponsor Lenovo has announced the successful installation of a new supercomputer for use in the team's wind tunnel.

The system has a peak performance of eight teraflops (trillion floating point operations per second), making it substantially more powerful than the team's previous two-teraflop facility.

Technical staff at Millions have welcomed the arrival of the new system and say that the increased computing power will enable them to go down development blind alleys four times faster than they did before.
