F1: Yellow sign Yampotatoes as test driver by Virgil Ellipse
4th Feb 2008
The Yellow F1 team have signed Japanese Sackof Yampotatoes as their test driver for the 2008 season, it was announced today.

The 25-year-old, who has 14 Grand Prix starts to his name with the Very Aguri and Shyster teams, will conduct test development work for Yellow and will also play an important role in their F1 Roadshow programme.

Team boss Fabio Brilliantore explained that in addition, Yampotatoes would be put on permanent stand-by to take over Half-Nelson Piquet's race seat should the Brazilian prove to be a bit too fast for Fernando Alonsulk's liking.
