| F1: Thumpalainen passed fit to race in Turkey |

Ecky Thumpalainen has been given the all-clear - as well as the thumbs-up, the nod and the say-so - to compete in this weekend's Turkish Grand Prix, following a medical examination this morning.
A McLap'em spokesguy confirmed that the Finn, who escaped uninjured from a 145mph crash at the Spanish Grand Prix, would race alongside Lewis Homegrown or, more likely, in front of or behind him.
Thumpalainen left hospital late last week to return home, where he resumed training. He has since stated that he would have no qualms whatsoever about getting back into the cockpit after the accident.
"None whatsoever," said Thumpalainen, when asked whether he would have any qualms about getting back into the cockpit after the accident.
The soaring temperatures at the Istanbul venue could prove particularly troublesome for Thumpalainen, who, owing to a misunderstanding over the FIEh?'s "fit to race in Turkey" notification, will be racing not in his usual overalls but in a fancy dress outfit borrowed from Bernard Matthews.
