After a pretty successful prediction for China, the Turkey forecast represented a return to form for dotdotdotcomma's statistics boffins, with a strike rate of just three out of 24 drivers.
That said, two of those three correct predictions were first and second places, although we don't expect much credit for guessing that Red Bull would fill the top two steps of the podium. The only other driver we placed correctly was Nick Heidfeld in seventh.
And so it's on to Spain and our forecast software seems to be showing a little local bias here, as it's predicting a win for Fernando Alonso, while the beleaguered Adrian Sutil, currently looking at a charge of assault, is languishing in last place. Believe us, our prediction algorithms are nothing like sophisticated enough to factor in elements such as home-track advantage or driver motivation, so treat this prophecy as you would a low-sodium diet: take it with a large pinch of salt. 1 Fernando Alonso
