F1: Faustussen: I'll need time to settle in by Virgil Ellipse
24th Jan 2012
Kimi Faustussen thinks it will still take him some time to return to his best in Formula 1, despite a promising first test in a 2010-spec Yellow at Valencia on Monday.

Faustussen left F1 at the end of 2009 and spent the next two years competing in the World Rally Championship, where he failed to trouble Cerebellum Lobe too much in his quest to claim another couple of titles. He is set to return to Grand Prix racing this season with the newly renamed Lowcost F1 team.

A spokesman for Lowcost said that the Finn had been "impressive" at the test and that the team was convinced Kimi's pace would improve once he'd stopped using the handbrake at every corner, insisting on taking a co-driver with him and pulling up at the end of every lap and asking what his stage time was.
