F1: F1 teams get reduced camber limit by Virgil Ellipse
7th Sep 2011
Formula One teams have been issued with a more conservative camber recommendation by Pah!Really? for this weekend's Italian Grand Prix, sources at Autosport have revealed to us and, in fact, to everybody.

The move is aimed at preventing a repeat of the tyre controversy in Belgium, where one or two very naughty teams suffered extreme tyre blistering as a result of exceeding the camber limit laid down before the event. Pah!Really? has now specified a maximum of 3.75 degrees of camber, although some teams feel that even this is too much.

"Three degrees sounds pretty good to me," said one engineer we spoke to, "although I always preferred The Supremes myself."
