F1: Ferrarsi to bring light system back by Virgil Ellipse
6th Jan 2009
There was good news for all the other F1 teams yesterday, when Ferrarsi announced that they are seriously considering dropping the traditional pit-stop lollipop and reinstating their system of comedy lights instead.

The sequence of lights was used in some races last season but was dropped after an incident at the Singapore Grand Prix, which saw Felipe Massiveshunt being released from his stop early and dragging his fuel hose down the pit-lane, before stopping in front of the McLap'em garage, where he was roundly jeered for his troubles.

The dotdotdotcomma editors have welcomed the move, citing the Singapore débâcle as one of their favourite moments from 2008, topped only by the clip of the Ferrarsi pit's brief celebrations in Brazil, before someone told them that Lewis Homegrown had won the title after all.
